From BMS connection to automated demand response in four steps
No hardware installation. No BMS firmware changes. Works with BACnet, Modbus, and Haystack protocols — the ones already running in your buildings.
Connect your BMS
Voltpathio's adapter layer pulls telemetry from your existing BMS via BACnet, Modbus, or Haystack protocols. No hardware installation. Typical connection time: 24–48 hours.

Subscribe to grid signals
Choose which ISO/RTO markets matter for your properties. PJM, MISO, CAISO, ERCOT, SPP, and ISO-NE supported out of the box. Real-time LMP and grid stress signals ingested at 1-second resolution.
Set comfort guardrails
Define per-zone temperature limits, occupancy schedules, and tenant SLA rules. Voltpathio never overrides these — they are hard constraints, not soft recommendations.

The platform monitors continuously — you stay in control
The engine polls your ISO market data and BMS telemetry every second. When a demand peak is predicted within the next 45 minutes, pre-approved load-shaping commands go to your HVAC zones within 200ms. You receive a push alert with the predicted peak, the curtailment action taken, and the estimated demand charge impact. Every automated command can be overridden from the dashboard or mobile app at any time — the platform does not act outside your pre-approved command library.
