No new hardware. Connects to what you already have.
Voltpathio speaks BACnet/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, and Project Haystack natively. Reads all six major US ISO/RTO market feeds at 1-second resolution. Writes demand and curtailment data back to your CMMS or BI tools via REST API. The protocol adapter runs in software — no on-site hardware, no BMS firmware updates.
Works with your existing BMS
No hardware replacement. Adapter layer connects to your current system and streams telemetry in real time.
Full BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP device discovery. Read/write object access via standard BACnet objects and properties.
Poll-based register reads for legacy equipment: chillers, boilers, VFDs, submeters, and energy meters without native BACnet.
Semantic tagging aware — auto-maps Haystack-tagged points to Voltpathio's building model for immediate load-shaping enrollment.

Pull demand data into your BI stack or CMMS
The Voltpathio REST API exposes real-time demand readings, forecast data, curtailment event history, and savings calculations. Rate-limited at 60 requests/minute per building on Portfolio tier. Endpoints follow OpenAPI 3.0 spec — full documentation available in the platform dashboard.
- JSON responses at 15-second and 1-minute interval granularity
- Webhook push for demand events (configurable kW threshold trigger)
- OAuth2 bearer token authentication per building scope
- 24-month historical interval data retention (Portfolio + Enterprise)
